The goal of this project was to add an addition to The Smith House in accordance to a narrative and impose both a new hierarchal space but a meta idea in alliance to the narrative.
Narrative
The Dunn family, the new owners of the infamous smith house, have been surfing for generations. In the warm months and even the more frigid months, they do not let the cold stop them from enjoying their favorite hobby. The whole family is connected by surfing as a pastime and bonding experience. They would like their home to be representative of the activity they enjoy the most, while still keeping it subtle.
